regulars at a members-run working men’s club turned back the clock to mark the centenary of its name change.

A fancy dress-themed party rounded off a week of celebrations at the Coronation Club, on Stollard Street, Clay Cross.

David Dobb, who chairs the management committee said: “The celebration week went really well. We finished the week off with a great party night where a lot of the members dressed in clothes of the 1911 era.”

The club was orginally known as the Egstow Club and changed its name in 1911.
