CCTV image released after theft from Buxton shop

On Sunday March 16 at 2.55pm a man walked into the Co-op on Scarsdale Place and concealed two packs of sirloin steak in his clothing.

He then left the store without paying and walked in the direction of the Vault public house.

The man was described as white, in his early 40s with greying hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit jacket, light blue t-shirt and black tracksuit bottoms.

Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images should contact PC Chris Sweetmore at Buxton police station on 101.
