Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to after a bank card was used fraudulently in various stores across the Chesterfield area.

It is believed the card had been left in the card machine at the till inside the McColls store on Cuttholme Way, Loundsley Green on Friday, July 28.

It wasn’t discovered that the card had been lost until the owner went to pay for other items on Tuesday, August 1.

The woman then went to cancel her card with the bank and discovered it had since been used to make several purchases at stores Loundsley Green, Newbold, Brampton, Chesterfield town centre and Hasland.

Officers are now releasing CCTV stills of a man who may be able to help with enquiries.
