CHESTERFIELD-BASED Auto Windscreens is celebrating after its call centre was ranked second in the UK at a prestigious customer service awards ceremony.

The company was also named Best Newcomer and Best Service Provider at the Top 50 Call Centres for Customer Service’s gala dinner, on Wednesday, September 28, at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in London.

Contact centre manager Claire Church said: “This excellent result is testament to every member of our call centre team who are always ready to go the extra mile for customers.”

The Top 50 Call Centres for Customer Service initiative is in partnership with the GfK Mystery Shopping market research organisation.

Its goal is to help call centres measure themselves against what the public considers to be a good calling experience and to create a benchmark for customer service excellence.

Auto Windscreens is one of the UK’s best known automotive glass repair and replacement companies and has 49 employees at its call centre.

It was assessed by GfK Mystery Shopping over three months on its responses to more than 100 emails and over 200 phone calls.

Claire Church added: “Auto Windscreens’ focus is total Customer satisfaction and this accolade shows that’s just what we are achieving.”
