Cabbie murder probe relived on TV

INVESTIGATIONS into the murder of cabbie Stuart Ludlam will be revealed in an hour-long Crimewatch special.

Darley Dale dad-of-three Mr Ludlam was found dead after been shot inside his taxi at Cromford Railway Station in September 2009.

Gunman Colin Cheetham (61), of Ripley, was jailed for life last year after he was found guilty of murdering Mr Ludlam in a random execution.

The Crimewatch episode will air at 9pm on Tuesday May 17 on BBC1.

It was filmed in November, features the Derbyshire Constabulary crime investigation team and details the background to the case as well as how Cheetham was caught.
