PACKAGING manufacturer inspirepac has defended its crown by scooping the prestigious Business of the Year title at the Derbyshire’s BEST Business Awards for the third year running.

The Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce and Insider Media Ltd competition organisers presented Chesterfield’s inspirepac with the trophy at a dinner at the Roundhouse, in Derby, this month.

The firm is renowned as an independent expert and dynamic supplier of creative corrugated packaging solutions.

It’s group chief executive Chris Marples said: “We’re thrilled to be recognised. It shows our business continues to improve, develop and make an impact. This is testament to our strategy and employees.”

DNCC chief executive George Cowcher said: “”It’’s been a challenging 12 months for businesses, but all our winners are exemplar companies who have chosen to ignore all the doom and gloom and have got on with doing what they do best which is innovating, exploiting opportunities, developing their businesses and –most importantly –succeeding and prospering.
