KIND-HEARTED staff at a manufacturing company brought smiles and laughter to the faces of children at Chesterfield Royal Hospital’s Nightingale Ward after they delivered 80 Easter eggs and numerous toys.

TMAT Ltd, of Holmewood Industrial Park, previously gave chocolates to employees for Easter but for the last couple of years the staff decided to donate their eggs to the Royal. David Delaney, TMAT operations manager, said: “I have had personal experience within the children’s ward and it was a pleasure to be in a position to be able to offer some form of thanks for all the hospital’s hard work.”

Staff from TMAT, which manufactures acoustic and thermal insulation parts for vehicles, distributed the gifts among patients and organised an Easter egg hunt.
