‘The personal costs of a recession are taking a toll’

AROUND a third of small and medium sized business owners and managers in the East Midlands say the state of the economy is taking its toll on their personal lives, according to new statistics.

The latest Close Business Barometer survey shows that of those in the region who say their personal life is suffering, 32 per cent are stressed and more than a quarter say their work-life balance has deteriorated. Close Invoice Finance said over a third felt trading has worsened.
