Calabria won the Customer Service accolate at last years Derbyshire Times Business Awards.

The hunt is on to find the very best of north Derbyshire’s businesses.

The Derbyshire Times Business Awards recognise the innovation and dedication which companies and entrepreneurs in the county demonstrate day in day out.

This week we are urging entries in the Business Idea of the Year and the Customer Service Award categories.

The Business Idea of the Year gong will go to the company or person whose originality has led to increased productivity within their firm, led to a reduction in costs or a development of their brand.

Judges will be looking for evidence of how their idea reaped rewards for their business and how it has been implemented into their company.

This category is sponsored by Chesterfield-based chartered accountancy firm Barber Harrison & Platt.

The Customer Service Award will go to the organisation which can best demonstrate that it has the client at the heart of its business.

It will need to show how it deploys and manages its resources to most effectively meet the needs of its customer base. This category is sponsored by Chesterfield-based business Franke Sissons.
