A South Normanton firm has announced record sales figures – up more than 70%
Turnover at Appliances Direct, which sells a range of household appliances, rocketed from £30 million in the 2011 to over £50 million in 2012.
The firm based at Berristow Lane, South Normanton, sells goods online, over the phone or via its showroom.
Nick Glynne, managing director at Appliances Direct, said: “It seems like barely a week goes by without hearing of another big name casualty on the high street, but our business model, where the majority of our sales are made online, but also having expert advice for customers over the phone or at our showroom, seems to be working.”
