New stall packs a punch

A FRUIT and vegetable retailer that has supplied Derbyshire Constabulary’s Ozbox with free fruit for more than four years has opened a new stall on Chesterfield Market.
Country Crop had their new stall outside the Market Hall officially opened this month by the Chesterfield mayor and Chesterfield borough cllr Peter Barr and Ozbox founder police Sgt Steve Osbaldeston.
Country Crop sends free bananas and oranges for youngsters who attend Ozbox at Chesterfield police station on Tuesdays.
Sgt Osbaldeston said: “Country Crop has supported what Ozbox has been doing for a number of years and we thoroughly appreciate their generosity and community spirit.”
A new sign displaying Country Crop’s sponsorship of Ozbox was also unveiled at the opening.
Owner Cliff Frost said: “Instilling discipline and encouraging a healthy lifestyle is important and we are proud to be a part of that.”
