New team appointed

A new management team has been appointed to take a retirement village forward.

St Elphin’s House, in Dale Road South, Darley Dale, has taken on Philippa Thompson to be its new general manager.

Philippa brings with her over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and will be leading a team including club services manager Ewen Crilley, head chef Stephen Edward and leisure services supervisor Scott Poulter.

Nick Sanderson, chief executive of Audley Retirement, which owns St Elphin’s, said: “The new team joined at an exciting time, following the opening of St. Elphin’s House and the Audley Club in September, and have become valuable members of the Audley family.”
