Make music in new studio

Business news

A drummer wants to help people make sweet music by setting up his own recording studio.

Harry Redfern will open the Lime Tree Music Centre, in Line Tree Road, Matlock, at the end of next month.

The 22–year–old, of Stanton–in–the–Peak, has been planning the venture for several months.

He said: “I started looking for premises last October and I have had to build up the premises myself, which has taken me since March.”

Now he’s excited to see his hard work pay off.

The centre will offer a recording studio as well as a rehearsal space.

The business will offer tuition on drums, guitars, vocals, keyboards, brass and basic theory, which will be provided by a variety of trained music tutors.

There will be music workshops for after school and master classes.

Harry also has plays to put on live events in local venues in the future.
