CHESTERFIELD MP Toby Perkins officially opened the new factory of a cutting-edge company.

The Shadow Business Minister cut the ribbon at Vehicle Weighing Solutions’ Sheepbridge site where high-tech weighing systems are fitted to refuse collection vehicles for local authorities and recycling companies to improve efficiency.

VWS’s pioneering products and service have brought them recession-busting growth, allowing the firm to expand to Chesterfield.
