More of the region’s top companies are rallying in support of the Derbyshire Times Business Awards, to help us in our search for the best.

There is still time to name the best in business from across the county, with nominations open until August 30.

The drinks sponsors for this year’s event – to be held on November 21 at the Proact Stadium – are Model Mentor.

The Chesterfield-based agency specialise in portfolio and commercial photography, children’s parties and act as a modelling agency through their sister company, Mentor Model Agency.

Lucy Shakespeare, marketing manager at the firm, said: “We are proud to back the Derbyshire Times and Derbyshire businesses by sponsoring these awards.”

Backing the awards for the fifth time is Banner Jones, who are sponsoring the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Marketing Manager, Anne-Marie Lowe, said: “As a local business we feel it is important to support community initiatives and particularly those supporting other local businesses. “

“The awards are a great way for companies of all sizes to step forward and showcase what it is they do in the town. We are certainly going to be entering again this year and are working on our entries right now.”
