Chapel-en-le-Frith-based industrial crane and hoist manufacturer Street Crane Company has launched a young talent programme aimed at recruiting the engineers of the future.

Street is aiming to recruit junior engineers at post A-level/ONC level, undergraduate engineers completing their first year BEng and graduate engineers seeking their first professional appointment.

Human Resources manager Kathy Travis said: “This programme integrates with the development plan for the business so that talented individuals can move into key roles as the company develops.”

Director of development Chris Russell, who is in charge of the programme, added: “Many of our senior people advanced through the business by developing their skills to build rewarding careers.”
