Blue Deer’s Hanger now fully occupied
Blue Deer, the Hathersage-based developer will be ending the year on a positive note given that it has now fully let both of its recent Chesterfield retail developments.
At The Hanger, the company’s latest development on Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield, the final lease was recently agreed with Lloyds Pharmacy – following on from the deal with Majestic Wine Warehouse, which recently opened for business.
Both these companies join Care 100, which moved in soon after the development was completed.
The Hanger, Blue Deer’s 6,000sq ft retail scheme, was designed by Sheffield-based Journeyman Design, creating an iconic landmark building that incorporates a working clock tower and a dramatic three-dimensional sculpture giving the scheme a unique identity.
The Hanger is Blue Deer’s second development on Chatsworth Road, which follows on from the success that they achieved at 131 Chatsworth Road — a mixed-use retail and leisure scheme anchored by Nonna’s restaurant — which has been fully let since the summer.
