Auto Windscreens buys AA AutoWindshields

Chesterfield company Auto Windscreens has bought AA AutoWindshields.

The deal will see AA AutoWindshields’ Preston offices and its 200 staff and technicians integrated with Auto Windscreens.

Chris Thornton, managing director of Auto Windscreens, said: “There are clear synergies for the two businesses.

Auto Windscreens is owned by Trifords, part of the Markerstudy group of companies.

It is the UK’s leading automotive glass repair and replacement provider.

The company’s head office and contact centre is based at Storforth Lane in Hasland.
