Brownies’ 100th birthday conga party
Brownies raised the roof at a supermarket in celebration of their centenary year.
The youngsters and their leaders from the 1st Matlock Green Brownies did the conga around the Coop, in Bakewell Road, Matlock, to mark the 100th anniversary of the organisation.
In doing this the girls completed the Big Brownie Birthday Badge, for which they had to do something fun to promote Brownies in the local area. Unit leader Hannah Yates said: “The girls all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and several of the Coop staff joined in with us.”
