BRAMPTON: Take some time out to meet your neighbours

The Brampton Social & Activities Group met for the final time of the year on the Wednesday before the Christmas break to enjoy their festive fuddle. The members provided the food but had time before their meal to take part in some games. The quiz was won by Bill Yates and the prize bingo winners were Ann Wilson, Margaret Jones, June Yates, Betty Hewitt, Jean Dickinson and Diane Judges. There was also a bran tub.

A presentation was made to the organisers of the group, Bill and June Yates, for all they had done throughout the year.

The first meeting in the New Year was held on January 9.

Time Out

After a break over the Christmas and New Year, the Time Out group will have its first meeting of the New Year on Tuesday, January 15. Anyone is welcome to come along for a chat over a cuppa, bring a craft to do, join in one of the table top games, table tennis or get on to the internet. Make new friends or meet up with an old one. Join us at Storrs Road Methodist Church Centre on Tuesday afternoon, 2pm - 4 pm. For more information contact (01246) 274021.
