BRAMPTON: Sheila Brabbing wins bowling’s Longson Cup.

The final one day major competition took place on Saturday, September 7, when 28 members of the Terminus Bowling Club competed for the Longson Cup. The winner was Sheila Brabbing with 40 points from Pat Hollis with 35 points. Members enjoyed afternoon tea during the competition.

After the competition, the centenary president, David Dolman presented Sheila with the Longson Cup and a line drawing of the clubhouse by the curator Stan Baxter was presented to John Fletcher, the retiring competitions, handicaps and friendly matches organiser and secretary, for his long service of 14 years.

Sunday, September 15, will see the Finals Day of the three internal Knockout Competitions and to conclude the events of the centenary year the annual dinner and presentation evening will take place at the Proact Stadium on Friday, November 8.
