A north Derbyshire based charity has helped to brighten up Christmas for needy youngsters overseas.

A north Derbyshire based charity has helped to brighten up Christmas for needy youngsters overseas.

Members of the Specialist Stroke Services, who are based at the Staveley Centre, have filled 24 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.

The boxes were delivered by chairman Tom Crosbie, his carer Jean Crosbie and service co-ordinator Debbie Newton to Lee Holland at Sainsbury’s in Chesterfield.

Specialist Stroke Services supports people who have had a stroke and their carers.
