According to England’s leading home builder the most popular day of the year for home buyers to surf the net looking for a new home is Boxing Day.

Last year Barratt Homes recorded over 12,000 web page views on Boxing Day, with people checking out the collection of new homes available.

As a festive thank you Barratt North Midlands is rewarding browsers who register on their website over the holiday period with a choice of three incentives to help them buy the house of their dreams.

Anyone registering on www.barratthomes.co.uk between December 21 2012 and January 27 2013 and reserving a home before the end of February 2013 can choose from having their mortgage paid for six months or up to £6000 off a new home (£500 off every £25,000 spent), or a deposit boost of up to 5%.

Mark Wright, managing director comments: “We are expecting lots of visitors to our website during the Christmas break and are happy to make them some great offers which will help home buyers move to the house of their dreams in 2013.”

In Derbyshire, the company presently has developments at: Saltergate, Cross Street, Chesterfield, which is a new development of four bedroom homes priced from £199,995; at The Spires, Derby Road, Chesterfield, which is a development of two, three and four bedroom homes priced from £131,995; at Highgrove, Westminster Drive, Church Gresley, Swadlincote, which is a development of three and four bedroom homes priced from £140,000.
