BOLSOVER: Region’s youngsters race for good health

MORE than 200 pupils from schools across the Bolsover region showed how fit they are when they took on a cross country run.

Duckmanton Primary School set the Cross Country Challenge on Tuesday to encourage youngsters to get involved in sport, get fit and keep healthy.

Every pupil pushed themselves to the limit and thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Those who did particularly well in the first race were Fern Clifford, of Palterton, who came first, Carly Betton, of Duckmanton Primary School, who came second, and Cara Dahill, of Bolsover Church of England School, who came third.
