There will be plenty to tickle your tastebuds at the fourth Bakewell Food Festival next month.

On Saturday April 25 and Sunday April 26, the town’s streets will be filled with an eclectic mix of over 50 stalls, with the focus on food and drink specialities.

As well as wine and food tastings, there will be a variety of roadshows and cookery demonstrations alongside other tempting free events.

There will also be rides for the children, while High Peak Donkeys and Shetland ponies from the Phoenix Children’s Foundation will add a touch of animal magic to proceedings.

Bakewell’s Old House Museum will feature prominently this year, hosting a Classical Bakewell Afternoon Tea on the Saturday, between 2pm and 4pm. Admission for this will be £2.
