Baker family rise to the occasion
Jamie Brooks, 38, owner of Mirage entered three wonderfully crafted cakes into several of the decorative exhibit categories of the competition.
Jamie created the 5ft tall ‘Magic Faraway Tree’ cake, which won a bronze award, his daughter Summer Brooks, aged six, created a ‘Zelf’ cake which also earned a bronze award, while Jamie’s nephew Joseph Blackhall, 25, earned gold with his Yoda cake (inset above).
