Snow and ice is causing problems for drivers in parts of Derbyshire following yesterday’s wintry weather.
The A57 Snake Pass road is closed and drivers have reported difficult conditions in parts of the Peak District – including the Taddington bypass – which saw snow yesterday and overnight.
A Derbyshire County Council spokesman said: “Gritters have been monitoring, ploughing and gritting the high areas all last night and this morning.
“There is no planned gritting for today.”
Today will be dry and clear with temperatures above freezing.
