A NERVOUS dog which was rehomed by the RSPCA has gone missing.

Phoebe was brought in to the charity’s Chesterfield and North Derbyshire branch last June.

She had been cruelly treated by her previous owners and staff worked for months to rehabilitate the four-year-old black and tan cross breed.

She was finally rehomed last month.

However during a walk near to the Cat and Fiddle on the A537 Buxton to Macclesfield road on Monday April 30, she ran off.

Her devastated owners said Phoebe, who is very nervous, was spooked and bolted.

Anyone with information should contact the RSPCA on 01246 273358.
