Staff contacted the Derbyshire Times after arriving at work yesterday (Sunday) to find 13 ducks and one cockerel which they said had been clearly shot. Some also had their necks broken.

They said: "We have reported this to our local police on several occasions and it stopped for a while, but every couple of months we get hit again and this time we are determined to find out who and why.

"We will pay a reward of £500 to anyone with information which leads to a conviction."
