AMBER Valley Borough Council’s local ward election results from yesterday’s voting were released today, May 6.

The Conservatives clinched 13 of the 16 available seats and Labour clinched three seats. The names of those elected are as follows:

ALFRETON: Gail Dolman, Labour, Elected.

ALPORT: David Harry Taylor, Conservative, Elected.

BELPER CENTRAL: Peter Makin, Conservative, Elected.

BELPER EAST: Jacqueline Ann Cox, Conservative.

BELPER NORTH: Mark Edward Robertson, Conservative, Elected.

BELPER SOUTH: Peter John Arnold, Conservative, Elected.

CRICH: Gareth Bryn Gee, Conservative, Elected.

DUFFIELD: Stuart John Bradford, Conservative, Elected.

HEAGE & AMBERGATE: Maurice Benjamin Gent, Labour, Elected. Angela Susan Ward, Conservative, Elected.

KILBURN, DENBY & HOLBROOK: Mel Hall, Conservative, Elected.

RIPLEY: Stuart Byron Joynes, Conservative, Elected.
