The fourth Amber Valley Beer and Cider Festival takes place in the Bowls Hall at Alfreton Leisure Centre between the 12th and 15th of September.

Although this is the 4th Festival it is the first time this venue, which is much larger than the marquee at Midland Railway Centre where the first three took place.

The Festival begins at 6pm on Thursday, while Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s opening hours are 12 noon, Friday and Saturday hours being throughout the day until 11pm.

There is a stellar line up of entertainment this year with the Blue Shift featuring on Thursday night, while Who’s Next headline Friday, backed by Junction, and the Rollin’ Stoned, supported by the Alma Boobies, are Saturday’s main attraction.

The ever-popular Ripley Morris Men will be there from 2-3pm to entertain the Saturday afternoon customers.

To ensure that no one gets too thirsty, there will over 100 Beers, Ciders, Perries and Wines to enjoy, along with soft drinks and snacks.

Among the Beers on offer will be three specials, ordered to celebrate various aspects of Amber Valley CAMRA’s history and brewed by Derbyshire Breweries. So something for everyone at this year’s Festival, and obviously well worth a visit or two! For further information please visit www.ambervalleycamra.org.uk for details.
