An eight-year-old Somercotes boy has turned up safe and well after being reported missing.
Police put out an alert about the boy first thing this morning after he had not been seen since 4.30pm on Sunday on Quarry Road in Somercotes.

But the drama ended this morning when the youngster turned up safe and well.
