Thieves legged it with thousands of pairs of tights from a Loscoe depot.
The raid was discovered when staff arrived at the plant at 6.45am last Monday, October 16.
Courtaulds runs the unit on Heanor Road and the hosiery was taken from two articulated lorry trailers. The depot was secure at 3pm on Friday, October 13.
Police are keen to hear of any suspicious activity in the area over the weekend. The tights were in boxes ready for distribution.
Officers say a vehicle must have been used to cart away the items.
