Cash to fund community projects is up for grabs following the launch of a new small grant scheme.
Environmental body WREN is awarding sums of between £2,000 and £15,000 for initiatives costing under £50,000.

Cheryl Raynor, WREN project manager for Derbyshire, said: “We’re hoping for applications from groups involved in all sorts of projects.”

Applicants should be not-for-profit organisations with a formal constitution.

The deadline is July 18.

For more information call WREN on (01953) 717165 or visit www.wren.org.uk.
