Countyfolk will be able to take a trip into the historical heart of Derbyshire during a series of drop-in sessions designed to help people find out more about the fascinating information in the county council's record office.
Derbyshire Record Office holds a vast collection of original Derbyshire-related material including documents, maps and drawings.
People can learn more about what it holds and how to access it during the half-hour drop-in sessions taking place each month in the record office on New Street, Matlock.
They don't have to be booked in advance, are free and last from 9am-9.30am on the following dates:
- Thursday, August 14;
- Tuesday, September 16;
- Wednesday, October 15;
- Thursday, November 13.
