Stanedge's two new captains

Stanedge Golf Club has announced its two new captains.
New club captain is David Harvey, of Wirksworth, while the ladies captain is Val Corker, of Bakewell.

Gents Bogey competition: Division One - 1. Garry Clarke 3up, 2. Derek Cooper All Square, 3. Eric Mellors 1 down. Division Two - 1. Steve Ashley 5 up, 2. Sean Brownsword 2 up, 3. John Allsop 1 up. Division Three - 1. Geoff Slater 1 up, 2. Simon Tranter All Square, 3. David Goodwin All Square.

Spondon Trophy round one - The Stanage B team overcame Shirland A to progress to round two. Winners for Stanedge were Harry Wright, Jim Gill, Tony Hiron and Ian Hayes.
