The early season first division leaders Mill Madrid and second placed Shirebrook Ex Servicemen's Club met with both sides going into the game unbeaten in their opening four games of 2008/9.
Mill Madrid are in their first season in the league's top flight and were looking to maintain that fine start, however it was Shirebrook who held the upper hand for long periods after Simon Johnson gave them an early lead.

ly and eventually claimed the points after, with time running out, Ryan Cancellara levelled and Jamie Smith hit a second to give them a dramatic win.
