DROYLSDEN 3 ALFRETON TOWN 2
Alfreton Town slumped to a 3-2 defeat in bad-tempered game at Droylsden.
Referee Ricky Wootton may well have been the busiest man on the park, handing out six yellow cards and sending off Droylsden's Steve Pickford on 56 minutes for his second bookable offence.
But Alfreton will be counting the cost after losing the game in four second-half minutes.
Goals from Liam Hearn (15) and Danny Davidson (68) had given them the lead after Carl Lamb had fired the home side after just five minutes.
But Domaine Rouse levelled on 79 minutes and Kevin Townson sealed the victory on 83 minutes.
ALFRETON TOWN: Tom Evans, Danny Mayman, Anton Brown, Leo Fortune-West, Martin McIntosh, Tom Curtis, Josh Law, Kris Bowler, Brian Cusworth (Paul Clayton 82), Liam Hearn (Ben Muirhead 82), Danny Davidson. Subs not used: Aden Flint, Kyle Sutcliffe.
Attendance: 318
