The 27-strong entry of Chesterfield & District AC athletes came away from the Derbyshire County Championships with a haul of 49 medals, including 22 gold.
The event, held in conjunction with Notts AA at Nottingham's Harvey Hadden Stadium, also saw a number of new championship best performances by club athletes, the most notable being James Selvey's lowering of Stuart Bond's 17-year-old record for the U
15 Boys 1500m by 0.8s.
This was all the more remarkable as each athlete was coached by Don Peckitt, the club's senior endurance coach.
James also won the 800m to complete an excellent double, while his brother Edward grabbed a treble in his U13 age-group.
Pole vaulter Ed Mourbey also showed his return to form, after overcoming a career-threatening injury, with a new championship best of 4.31m in both the Junior and Senior Men's events, while brother Ben improved the previous best in the Senior men's high jump by 1cm, to a new height of 2.02m.
Jon Kirkland, Lauretta Curtis and Sian Pentin also came away with doubles.

James Selvey had given a hint of what was to come when he ran 4:19.5 to finish second in a mixed-age 1500m race at Birmingham on the previous weekend.
Both times are inside the English Schools' Championships entry standard, and will be notified to the county selectors by the club.
This weekend the club's young athletes are again in action with a trip to Cleckheaton for the second match in Division Northern 1 East of the UK Young Athletes League, against the host club Spenborough, Doncaster AC and Chester-le-Street, and will be hoping to build on the win in the previous fixture.
The coach will depart Chesterfield Town Hall on Sunday at 9am at a cost of £4 per person, and leave for the return trip at around 5.30pm.
