Sheepbrige made up for their League disappointment with a sensational cup double.
Cosi Di Girolamo's men came home trumps taking both the Byron and Graham Cup in the space of two days.
Sheepbridge won the more prestigious Byron Cup at Saltergate.
R. White simply fizzed and produced a sparkling performance which was capped o
ff with a couple of goals in their 5-1 victory over Clowne Miners Welfare.
Many of the Sheepbridge squad which included eight players of Italian connection have played at a high standard which showed as playing at Saltergate did not seem to faze them unlike their opponents.
The Sheepbrige Azzurri played with great momentum throughout and dominated possession with their simple passing and flowing game.
Stevie Adams opened up Sheepbridge's account after only two minutes which was followed 15 minutes later as Rocky White thundered in a header from Marchetta's corner kick.
Eventually Clowne's nerves settled down and showed they could cause some problems by twice going close near the end of the first half.
However, Sheepbridge were quick off the blocks in the second half as Rocky White was twice denied in the first five minutes, first by the post and secondly from a great save by Hall.
Sheepbridge increased their lead after 58 minutes when a good cross from substitute Ash Morton seemed to allude everybody in the box apart from the alert Marco Marchetta who expertly poked the ball into the roof of Clowne's net. Sheepbridge made it 4-0 on 70 minutes when a great ball again from White found Marchetta on the left flank.
Marchetta unselfishly put in a great slide rule ball across the box to the oncoming and grateful Matt Lees who tapped the ball into the empty net.
After 75 minutes Clowne clawed one goal back from the impressive and pacey Antony Rowley who was a second half substitute and they had a great penalty claim turned down just a couple of minutes later after a clumsy Karprzcki challenge. Giuseppe Deiso, another player with Italian connections, came late on for the impressive Marchetta and came close with a couple of opportunities late on.
However, it was Rocky White who capped off his man of the match performance with a brave finish from a very clever Stevie Adams free kick 5 minutes before the end.
Two days later Whaley Thorns were Sheepbridge's opponents in the Graham Cup final staged at Hasland's Cylinders Ground and it was Whaley who started much the brighter with a couple of very good chances in the first two minutes.
One chance thundered against the bar while the other was a disallowed goal for an infringement on former Matlock Town keeper Kevin Tye.
Mr Di Girolamo rang the changes to freshen things up but Sheepbridge still started sluggishly but against the run of play they took the lead after six minutes when recalled Karprzcki rose like a salmon to thunder home from Mario Slater's well-delivered corner kick.
