Cutthorpe Cricket Club is hosting a 20/20 cricket match in aid of Derbyshire cricketer Steve Stubbings.
The match is due to take place on Monday, starting at 5pm at the recreation ground, adjacent to the Three Merry Lads pub in Cutthorpe.

Stubbings has been with Derbyshire for 11 years and the match is part of his benefit year.

It will feature a Derbyshire XI, led by county skipper Rikki Clarke, taking on a Cutthorpe team.

In addition there will be bouncy castles, a barbecue and a penalty shoout-out.

Stubbings has played almost 250 first class and one-day matches for the county, scoring 13 centuries and 12 scores in the 90s.

Mark Barlow, of Cutthorpe CC, said: ''Steve is a very deserving beneficiary and we are hoping that a large crowd will make it a wonderful family evening and a night to remember for all present to cherish.''
