Charity match raises £850

The Cancer Research UK game at Bolsover was a huge success with over £850 being raised.
A crowd of more than one hundred gathered to see the match between Bolsover Old Boys FC's coaching staff and club officials take on the Bolsover Old Boys Juniors coaching staff, officials and player's dads.

Ex-Chesterfield and Sheffield Wednesday stalwart Lawrie Madden played the entire 90 minutes for the Juniors.

The seniors who ran out 5-2 winners in a highly entertaining game, goals for the seniors came from Jimmy Wignall (2), Damian Lee, Darren Watts and the 53-year-old Robbie Crew.

The juniors scorers were U11s head coach Garry Johnson, who hit the goal of the game, and U15s manager Sean Hardy from the penalty spot.
