Brampton FC will be gunning for a league and cup double tomorrow night when they face Whaley Bridge in the Lawrence Cup final.
Player-boss Sean Boyle booked the Eagles final spot when he grabbed a late winner in the 2-1 semi final clash with Harpur Hill on Monday.
Man-of-the-match Chris West had earlier equalised a Harpur opener in a game where Brampton always enjoyed the upper hand.
The victory followed a 3-1 win for the Eagles in their last league game against Buxton Town on Saturday.
The win meant Brampton, who were crowned champions a week previously, completed the campaign seven points clear of nearest rivals Whaley Bridge.
l Brampton and Whaley will meet in the final of the Lawrence Cup tomorrow (Friday) at Tideswell. Kick off is 6.30pm.
