Symphony orchestra's sweet music

Members of Chesterfield Symphony Orchestra are tuning up for a concert.

The orchestra will be directed by its new conductor Tom Newall, at Chesterfield's Winding Wheel on Saturday, July 5, at 7.30pm.

The programme includes Haydn's cello concerto in C will soloist Pei-Sian Ng, Weber's Preciosa overture, Stravinsky's Suite from Puclinella and Beethoven's Symphony No 8.

Tickets cost 8 and 6 (concessions), from members of the orchestra or at the venue.
