Star ringmaster rounds up his fans
David Essex in All The Fun of the Fair at Nottingham Theatre Royal, from January 31-February 4.
Roll up, roll up, to see pop legend David Essex star in a new tour of his hit musical, All The Fun of the Fair.
The production, inspired by David’s album of the same name, is set in the exciting world of an East End funfair and will be visiting Nottingham and Sheffield as part of a major tour.
David has created a rollercoaster ride of a musical, underscored by a helter-skelter of his hits such as Hold Me Close, Gonna Make You A Star, Rock On and Silver Dream Machine.
The star put his London accent to good use when he played loveable rogue Eddie Moon in EastEnders last year,
All The Fun of the Fair runs at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham, from January 31 to February 4 and at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre from March 26 to 31. For Nottingham tickets, contact (0115) 989 5555 or www.trch.co.uk; for Sheffield tickets, contact (0114) 249 6000 or www.sheffieldtheatres.co.uk
