Railway children steam into gardens
Heart-warming classic The Railway Children is steaming in for an open-air production in Steel City.
Wrapped in a blanket of nostalgia, the production focuses on three siblings mysteriously separated from their father who grow up in a village where a railway runs through it.
As endless days stretch before them, the family set about establishing themselves and making friends in the village.
The open-air presentation, by Heartbreak Productions, takes place at Sheffield’s Botanical Gardens from August 10-12, with performances at 6.30pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and a Saturday matinee at 2pm.
