SIR — If you visit Hartington, Staveley, you will require a sat nav. According to the booklet Staveley Town Guide 2008/9, Staveley ends at two roads after the police station.
Does this mean, I ask excitedly, that we no longer have to pay any of our council tax to them and are actually due a refund as we don't exist?

The same will apply to Mastin Moor as they, too, are not part of Staveley (according to the map anyway).

Get your cheque books out and I look forwrd to being reimbursed, if you can find me, of course.

JUNE FRANCISCO,

Frustrated Hartington resident.

Full address supplied.
