SIR — What a surprise I had on seeing my junior school photograph sent in by Mrs Dorothy Flaxman (Mailbox, June 5).
I, too, have a copy of this photograph and am second from the right on the second row down. I was wearing a bright green dress with white polka dots at the time.

I know the names of many, but not all, of my ex-classmates — plus the teacher's name (Mrs Burton) and the headmaster's (Mr Greaves).

It would be great to compare notes with other classmates to fill in the gaps.

MRS LESLEY PLAYFER,

(nee Parker),

33 Redbrook Avenue, Hasland, Chesterfield.

SIR — Well knock me down with a feather! I am indeed one of the little cherubs in the school photograph sent in by Mrs Flaxman. I'm on the end of the second row down — blond hair, braces and a tie! Wish my hair was that colour now!

BERNARD NASH,

90 Chesterfield Road, Shuttlewood, Chesterfield.
