SIR — At the roundabout from hell at Whittington Moor, try entering it from Brimington Road North.
Before going any further I would like to clarify something: Chesterfield is south of Sheffield? Yes. Sheffield is north of Chesterfield? Yes. Whittington Moor is in the middle? Yes. How is it then that if you follow the road markings on Brimington Ro
ad North for the A61 South (remember Chesterfield is south) it takes you over the roundabout to Sheffield?

If you follow the road markings for the A61 North (again remember that Sheffield is north) it takes you left onto the A61 towards Chesterfield.

I know as I get older I do miss out on what appears to be never ending change, but I think even I would have remembered whole towns/cities swapping places.

An explanation please.

JENNY DUDLEY,

(Even more confused).

Address supplied.
