A two-minute silence was observed in at the Cenotaph in Bolsover to mark VE Day, with standard bearer David Milnes (pictured.)
The Royal British Legion have drop-in sessions at Bolsover Contact Centre, on Cotton Street, on the fourth Thursday of every month, 10am - 1pm, the Clowne Contact Centre, in The Arc, High Street, on the second Tuesday of every month, 10am - 1pm, and at Chesterfield Library, on New Beetwell Street, on the first and third Thursdays of every month, 12 - 2pm.
